What's up Geekly Goods fam! 🤯 Spider-Man: Brand New Day has hit another massive box office milestone, outgrossing Avengers: Endgame at the domestic box office to become the highest-grossing MCU movie of all time in North America.
This puts Brand New Day just behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the all-time domestic crown, with Force Awakens sitting at $936.6 million. At its current pace, running roughly $40 million ahead of Force Awakens' trajectory at the same point, it genuinely looks inevitable that Brand New Day claims the number one domestic spot outright within the next few weeks. This also means Tom Holland now stars in three of the top four highest-grossing domestic releases of all time, and two of Marvel Studios' three biggest domestic movies are now Sony releases.
That is genuinely insane. It keeps hitting these records week after week, and honestly, I wonder if it's eventually going to catch Endgame's full worldwide total too, especially with Endgame getting its own theatrical reissue with new Doomsday footage coming in September.
