I got to shoot with the new Sony 100-400mm f/4.5GM lens for a few days a couple weeks ago and wanted to share with you my thoughts on it, a bunch of images I shot with it, and my prediction of who will buy it. I got a little crazy and did a lot with it so this video is 35 minutes long. Feel free to pass through my photos and get to the conclusion if you like. But for many of you, you're trying to figure out if you should buy this lens and maybe trade in your 200-600G... the answer in most cases is yes. I'm a former Sports Illustrated photographer that made a decent living shooting sports full-time back in the day. Now I spend my time teaching what I know to others.
