Sony's Compact Prime lenses often get overlooked by photographers seeking their next lens. These are the smallest and lightest lenses made so far but they are all razor sharp and have the same advanced dual linear AF motors inside them as the fancy GM lenses. The Sony FE24mm f/2.8, FE40mm f/2.5, and FE50mm f/2.5 lenses all are capable on 30 fps on the A1 and 120FPS on the new A9III bodies, too. For street photography it's hard for me to think of a better lens choice than the FE40mm f/2.5 compact prime. This is my clear favorite and it lives on my A7CII all the time because of that fact. Photographers who travel all the time should make special note of these lenses.
