Sonic: The Lost Land 2 is the sequel to Sonic: The Lost Land by Shadow Fire, and it well, shares traits with the first Sonic: The Lost Land hack! The graphics are about on par with the first hack, even down to Sonic using about the same sprites too, albeit probably edited from Sonic 2 Sonic's sprites this time around. And the music is mainly the Sonic 2 music but swapped around in different zones, though Flying Fort uses music from Flying Battery from Sonic & Knuckles. Unfortunately no dynamic music system like the first hack, though hacking Act 2 music into Sonic 2 might've been harder to do anyways, so I can probably imagine why it isn't included.

And again, the zone palettes look pretty nice in this hack! And heck, even more of the level design has been changed too! Sure, all of the zones are about the same as Sonic 2's level design, but I really liked the new & more challenging zone designs in Ancient Amazon and Sunken Subway! Heck, even Air Assault (Sky Chase in the OG Sonic 2) is basically an autoscrolling zone without the plane, and it is pretty neat!

As for the bosses, they are the same as in the original Sonic 2, just with 10 or more hits needed to defeat the bosses instead of the standard 8 hits, which also makes them more challenging I guess.

And also like I said in the longplay of the first Sonic: The Lost Land hack, this hack also gives me some childhood memories/nostalgia since I mainly remember it being used in Yuzoboy's Sonic 2 SNES Remixes, and albeit probably not the original uploads (and the OG uploads probably not using the footage), it's still again, memorable for it's time.
