Since I did a longplay of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing which came before Transformed, I figured I would finally get to doing Transformed now that I have an HDMI capture card. This was one of my childhood games I remember getting for my Xbox 360 instead of the original SEGA All-Stars Racing before I got that one in the future on eBay, and while I did prefer the original, man this was still a blast for me to play the first few times I've played it back then.
While I've been preferring playing other racing games in 2026 so far, like Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3, there's something nostalgic about coming back to Transformed. Unfortunately because I haven't played it in so long, I sorta lost all my cool stunts, driving, and even the start-up boosts in the game compared to how I played it back then, which is why I've been failing so bad at some of the courses. It didn't help I was playing on the Medium difficulty either.
Despite the flaw of me being worse at it, I still tried to manage to get better at it again, but I feel like I need more practice, especially due to me forgetting how the start-up boosts are timed. I guess it didn't help I was playing it through an HDMI capture card without a splitter? But it did promise low latency, and honestly the latency wasn't even that bad, so I think it was mainly my fault for not timing them as well as I used to.
Otherwise, I was glad to eventually get 1st place in every main cup in the Grand Prix! And yes, I did say main, because I don't really have plans to play the Mirror Cups unfortunately, especially since I have other Xbox 360 video games to longplay as well. And yes, the thumbnail really is just a moment of me falling off of Sky Sanctuary, since it's one of my favorite highlights of frustrating yet funny moments that happened during this longplay.
