Ice Age 4 is a bootleg hack of Chuck Rock by TOF, and it's pretty much the same as their Ice Age 3 hack, only with some better HUD graphics and a swapped level order.
I've played this one first since I thought the sprites looked better, but in actuality, the main player sprites are the exact same as the ones in Ice Age 3. In fact, this one might be a little worse. The palettes seem to be even more screwed up than in Ice Age 3, since the objects flicker in Level 2 (which was Level 4 in the original game), among many other palette issues. It's also a little glitchy, as going out of the water in Level 1's boss (Level 3 in the original game) shows half of the boss' sprites rather than the splashed water sprite the original game, and even the original Ice Age 3 hack, had.
And it's not just those issues, Level 4, which was Level 1 in the original game, has the ice physics from the original Level 4, which was the ice level! To be fair, I got used to it, and it's honestly a little fun playing it with the ice physics, but it ain't the intended way of playing the level. Oh yeah, and the original Title Screen was cut out, so it cuts straight back to the 1st level in this hack after the Ending.
Well, at least the HUD looks better in this hack in my opinion, even though the score on the top has been cut out for whatever reason, but I'd still recommend playing the Ice Age 3 bootleg hack first, or even the original Chuck Rock, as this one, even if it's an "improvement", is somehow more flawed in some ways.
