Firstly, shout out to Cornelius-Raidon of Deviantart for the use of the sonic title screen emblem. You can find it here: cornelious-raidon.deviantart.com/art/Sonic-Title-Emblem-171820814
This video contains the title theme, continue theme, and a few jingles for my fictitious Sonic game, "Sonic Shift." It just wouldn't be a complete "soundtrack" without these tunes.
I've decided to go with the name Sonic Shift because of the theme of each act having some drastically dynamic change, with an overlying theme of weather, environment, and natural disasters. This idea was also heavily inspired by Mushroom Hill Act 2 from Sonic 3&K, where Dr. Robotnik was using some form of a weather satellite to change the seasons in Mushroom Hill. As such, for purposes of the story for this game, the main theme would revolve around Robotnik furthering his experiments with weather change, environment, and weather manipulation- hence many of the climactic moments mentioned in each of the acts (volcano eruptions, deforestation, etc).
----------------------
The title, extra life, and game over jingles are all built off of the invincibility theme I composed many moons ago, while the continue theme is based off of the options screen music. Certainly not a fully original piece, but recurring the use of familiar themes helps to bring the package together, similarly to the way the Genesis classics did.
In addition, I am nearing the end of this particular soundtrack. I have a few more tunes in mind that I may add to this soundtrack to help round it out. Once it's completely finished, I may consider uploading the entire soundtrack somewhere for free download. If you have any ideas or suggestions for other tunes/levels/jingles to incorporate, feel free to suggest them in the comments below.
As always, thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoy!

![[Re-Upload] Dastardly Mechanical Mastermind- Robotnik Theme (Original Composition)

***This is an edited re-upload. Original version is now unlisted, but can be heard here for comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUtkC3fDh04 ***
This is an updated version of a would-be Robotnik theme for my Sonic Shift fan-soundtrack. Compositionally, its basically identical to the original. However, the original had some weird things going on with compression and distortion, and frankly I had too many instruments competing for attention in the mix. The new version features a deeper key, clearer EQ and compression, and a generous cutting back/deleting of some of the extra instruments that were causing the original to sound so muddled.
Hope you enjoy, and thanks for listening! [Re-Upload] Dastardly Mechanical Mastermind- Robotnik Theme (Original Composition)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/d7jCmCAhfHc/mqdefault.jpg)
