Here's the latest installment of the Sonic Battle Remixes- Tails' Lab Theme!
I'm trying to stick to the original songs as much as possible with these, while both adding in elements and themes to help reflect the character who the stage belongs to, as well as splash in some other music genres fitting for that character or arena.
So in this case, we went a bit electronic heavy for Tails, splashing in some chiptune elements with heavy drum machines and a lot of synth.

This is an updated version of a would-be Robotnik theme for my Sonic Shift fan-soundtrack. Compositionally, its basically identical to the original. However, the original had some weird things going on with compression and distortion, and frankly I had too many instruments competing for attention in the mix. The new version features a deeper key, clearer EQ and compression, and a generous cutting back/deleting of some of the extra instruments that were causing the original to sound so muddled.
