This Sonic the Hedgehog Pasta commercial is one of the strangest pieces of 90s merchandise and it was somehow completely real. Sega teamed up with Franco-American, which was owned by Campbell's, back in 1995 to launch canned pasta shaped like Sonic characters, and the partnership actually lasted all the way through the year 2000. In the ad a kid is mid game on Sonic and Knuckles when his mom throws him a can of pasta, and he catches it without even looking, then somehow plugs it into a custom slot on his Genesis like it is a cartridge, obviously something that never existed on the real console. Even funnier, if you listen closely the music playing in the background does not match the level he is actually playing, since it uses the Chemical Plant Zone theme from Sonic 2 instead of the Mushroom Hill track shown on screen. It is such a wild example of how far game companies were willing to go with cross promotion back then. Did you ever actually try Sonic Pasta or did you just see the can on shelves?
