Three sloths were rescued in total: two adults and a baby sloth. Confiscated by SINAC on suspicion of illegal wildlife trade, the family received essential medical exams with us and was then transferred to specialist sloth experts for ongoing care, especially for the baby sloth. We only handle animals for necessary medical procedures, and our goal is always to return as many as possible back to the wild.
