“You got food for us?!”
Meet Aliyah and Alejo, two beautiful rescued coatis at our rescue center in Nosara, Costa Rica.
A big part of every single day here is food. Preparing the right diets, making sure every animal gets what they need, and supporting them as they recover takes time, care, and a lot of attention. Good nutrition is such an important part of rehabilitation, helping injured and vulnerable wild animals regain strength and giving them the best possible chance for the future.
At our Costa Rica project, we rescue and treat a wide range of wildlife from Nosara and the surrounding area. Many arrive needing urgent help after threats like electrocution, vehicle accidents, dog attacks and other serious injuries. Once they are safe with us, everything from medical treatment to feeding plans becomes part of their journey back to health.
