"Demystifying Science is the educational media project of two scientists that traded the lab bench for the pen and camera.
Michael Shilo DeLay and Anastasia Bendebury attained PhDs from Columbia University in 2018. DeLay specialized in nanoscale
water mechanics and Bendebury in the electric nature of bacterial communication. Prior to this, DeLay studied neuroscience
at Kenyon College, cell-signalling at Yale, Ohio State, and UCSF. Bendebury studied genetics and microbiology at UCSD and UCSF.
They have published and presented widely in these fields and have written for pop-sci magazines like Discover, Nautilus, and Astronomy.
Demystifying Science creates media that untangles Nature’s mysteries in service of a more resilient human future. The DS podcast
and YouTube productions center on the fictional travels and trials of two alien scientists sent from the planet Alvafloss to study
humanity. This angle affords a unique perspective on Earth events over the course of in-depth conversations with many of the world's
greatest thinkers." youtube.com/demystifyingscience

Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Ph.D., is a professor of radiology at The Ohio State University. He also holds an appointment in the Chemical Physics Program. In 1998, he led the design and assembly of the world’s first Ultra High Field MRI System. This brought on the need to question fundamental aspects of thermal physics, including ideas related to Kirchhoff’s Law of thermal emission, and more. These presentations are not endorsed by The Ohio State University.

Thank you for viewing this video on Sky Scholar! This channel is dedicated to new ideas about the nature of the sun, the stars, thermodynamics, and the microwave background. We will discuss all things astronomy, physics, chemistry, and imaging related! We hope that the combination of facts and special effects will aid in learning even the toughest concepts in astronomy. Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Ph.D., was a professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University from 1989-2019, and also held an appointment in the Chemical Physics Program. In 1998, he led the design and assembly of the world’s first Ultra High Field MRI System. Readings from this equipment brought into question fundamental aspects of modern thermal physics, such as Kirchhoff’s Law of thermal emission.
