In this video, we're gonna get together and learn how to paint a quick and simple northern lights scene. This is a good lesson for beginners on up!

I’m painting on a 12x16-inch canvas board, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• A 1/2-inch flat brush
• #12 cloud brush
• Flat, stiff, natural bristle brush
All brushes (except the natural bristle) available on my website at paintingwithjane.com/brushes.
I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Quinacridone Magenta
• Phthalocyanine Blue
• Phthalocyanine Green
• Primary Yellow
But you can use any colors you like.
