Bored with paint pouring? Wanna see what else you can use pouring medium for? Come make a faux stained glass window using pouring medium with me! We're thinking outside of the box and doing something totally unique, and it's so much fun!
I'm using a 16x20-inch piece of glass and frame, but you can use any size you like.
For this project, you'll need:
• Some kind of a bottle with a tip to squeeze the gel into lines
• Liquitex Gloss Super Heavy Gel (or Liquitex Gloss Heavy Gel)
• Palette knives
• Liquitex Pouring Medium
• Large plastic cups for mixing medium
• Small paper cups for pouring medium
• A soft flat brush (I used a filbert, about 1/2-inch, but that doesn't really matter)
• Patience
• Time (this project may take you a couple of days)
• **Optional** An image template. You can download the three I have for you here: paintingwithjane.com/tracing Or you could do something totally different!
• **Also Optional** Liquitex Glass Bead Gel
I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Deep Violet
• Dioxazine Purple
• Phthalocyanine Blue
But you can use any colors you like.
