In this video, we're gonna get together and learn how to paint a Supermoon over a country road using nothing but black and white. I'm also going to add different colors of glow paint to give it an extra pop at night. This is a good lesson for beginners on up!
I’m painting on a 12x16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• A 1/2-inch angle brush
• My #12 cloud brush (but any brush you use for scrubbing is fine)
• My #6 cloud brush (but a small filbert would also work well)
• A 1/2-inch, flat, natural bristle brush
• A small round brush
• A water color pencil
• Something to trace the shape of your moon
• A ruler
• Matte medium (optional but recommended)
• Glow paint (optional) This is what I used: amzn.to/2I1fU8J
I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
But you can use any colors you like.
