There was an unusual amount of snow this particular year, and to help the animals move about to their feed and water, I had to constantly shovel 3-4 foot deep "snow canyons" which would fill up each day. While shoveling, every once in a while a memory of goat packing would flash through my mind. All the sounds you hear are created from the frozen door. There is a bit of silence in the beginning. This is the last of the three-part album, "Wintering Well."
