Filmed in Wind River and Medicine Bow's Snowy Range, Wyoming, USA. I first tried this stove in temperatures below 0 F, and my reaction was to chuck it into the snowbank as useless. Instead I decided to show it being used as it should be (aaargh), and had the goal of filming in higher and higher altitude at colder and colder temperatures. I did get it up to 13,000 feet using freezing water from a high glacier lake---but alas! I dropped my camera in the lake and couldn't film that! Oh! Tough little stove, though, unlike my poor camera. (BTW, that last glacier water trial only got the water medium hot before the alcohol burned off. Still comforting to drink, though!)
