I should have put this on a still stand of cattail fronds, instead of plunking it right down on the snow. Even without that, that little Trangia is a mighty little thing. Thanks to Hiram Cook and JHIPPL for suggesting this fantastic Trangia pot stand that fits into a GSI pot, reflects the heat beautifully, and can be used on a cold day with mittens.
