According to a recent Leger360 poll, only 4% of Canadians see climate change as a priority. The government is looking for places to cut spending. According to a July 17, 2025, article published by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, "...supports to First Nations, veterans, new Canadians, international aid could be on the chopping block—just for starters." Canadian federal and provincial climate change commitments are $476 billion (2020-2030) according to Carbon Policy Tracker. That's $11,900 per resident of Canada! And the "Net Zero" focused Carney government could add much more! Canada emits only 1.5% of global GHGs. China emits in one month what Canada emits in a year and eight months. Your climate money is being wasted! Save Canada! Cancel climate policies! Join us in the "Race FROM Net Zero!" friendsofscience.org
