1CC of the fifth installement of the Parodius series from Konami,
parody of varius game like Gradius,
this title adds some sexy content to the mix.
I played with Mambo, really strong with homing laser, in "auto" mode
because of the instant respawn after death but with the downside
of be unable to chose power up.
The game is pretty difficult with a vicious rank progression
therefore i powerup slowly and died several time
to control rank (some death not really planned).
There are missions for every stage which lead to some forking way.
there's a total of 10 stage , 8 standard + 1 boss rush + 1 special stage,
but it's possible to play only 6 standard stage (due to forking).
Boss rush show up at random after completing stage 1 and
Special stage is avaiable after the ending if all mission are completed.
I made this run on Wolmame 0.106 in september 2019.
The emulation has some graphic issues,
the game lacks some background element like the stars in stage 2
or green palace in stage 6 but gameplay it's ok.
