Not knowing anything about these clocks but was very interested in them, I bought one from G.W. I did clean the movement and for what I could find about the movement, I was missing a few switches. Most parts I found for this clock were $59.00 plus shipping. The end result was to find a clock that was in full and not missing parts. This clock did come with a very heavy pendulum and did run after cleaning but I had to wind the clock by hand. These clock are rare to find and are normally high priced.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
