This is a hard to find, Double Pendulum Cuckoo Clock. This is why the value is so high on this clock. Very nice, two swinging people, man and lady, the are enjoying the day swinging back and forth, letting the time pass.
I show how to remove a whistle box that has been glued into the box, Blow out the movement and re-oil to freshen up the old oil and keep the old oil from gumming up.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
