I was contacted by a friend that had someone needing help on his England Movement. He got the clock from is mom after passing and the clock means a lot to him. Not really wanting too, because all my own clocks I have to work on, but I took this project on. He tried to clean and work on the movement but couldn't keep it running more than an hour. Lets see what I found in this video.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
