Watching the auction on GW, I bought this clock for a very good price. This Herbert Herr Cuckoo Clock was only missing the pendulum and seemed to have a very clean Movement. So I decided to just oil the movement and see how well the clock ran. Come check this video out too see what it takes to oil your cuckoo clock every 5 to 7 years.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
