This music box ended up having a broken tooth on the gear that comes from the governor. I got it to play, but there are times the music stops and has to be messed with again. They do sell new governors at Time Saver that you might have to file on to get it to fit your music box, but I now have to order one.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
