Larry's clock has been in the family for a short while, but want it to keep the clock running too pass down the line. This clock has been worked on by someone, but was over their head to fix it right.
Here I get the movement cleaned and started on the music box in part #2 of these videos.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
