Scotch were an Italo Disco ensemble who had a number of hit recordings throughout Europe in the early 80s. They were formed by Fabio Margutti and went on to place four singles on the German charts between 1984-86. “Disco Band” was the first of these, reaching #3 in 1984. The disc also reached #28 in their native Italy.
“Disco Band” was also a track on their debut album, “Evolution”, which reached #63 in Germany. Scotch’s discs were also big sellers in Sweden, where “Delirio Mind” and “Mirage” both went to #1.
