Written by Bernadette Cooper. Produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Hailing from Los Angeles, the all-girl Pop/R&B band began issuing recordings in 1981 with their debut album, “Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman” on Dick Griffey’s Solar label. Chart success came in 1984 with the album “Meeting In The Ladies Room” and the ensuing singles; including “I Miss You”, which went to #5 on the Hot-100.

Before “Meeting In The Ladies’ Room”, a third album "Girls in the Band" was scheduled to be released in 1983, but it looks as if it was never released. "Multi-Purpose Girls" – written by group member, Bernadette - was the only single released from the album.
