I'd never heard of these until SouthTube 5, when we had them at McNamara's Tavern. More than one of us got addicted to them right then and there. They are the epitome of health food - a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage, coated with bread crumbs, and deep fried. Yum!
I hadn't done them for a while, and since I got reminded of them on St. Pattie's Day, it seemed like a good excuse to revisit them.
