In this AU Scamp lived in a loving family that didn't understand him – almost like in canon – he always wanted more freedom, to escape this life with chains.
Something happened – it's up to you what – and Scamp's parents died, his siblings were taken away into different families, Scamp ran from it.
Now he is on the streets, free as he wanted, but it's just he doesn't feel whole anymore. He doesn't know if he will ever survive in this big dangerous world, he meets Angel who also lost her parents and lives with the junkyard dogs.
Scamp and Angel are becoming so close, fall in love, they try to feel good and make their dreams come true but still something is always missing and they can't feel truly alright.
At 0:43 - 0:45 and at 1:01 Scamp and Angel are looking at a sad family that reminds them of their own dead parents. Angel looks happy in the beginning, still full of night adventures.
I guess it's a big vent, only I don't have anyone in my life to represent Angel, oh well.
