I found this song by chance and I'm completely into it now, I can listen to the chorus over and over again.
There are different kind of couples here, both canon, non-canon and crossovers, also single characters.
Scamp / Bambi, this AU is perhaps very close to my previous Scamp / Ronno AU, Scamp also visits the forest in secret and loves being free in nature.
But in this AU he meets Bambi instead of Ronno, they fall in love and share a deep bond. One day they found out that Scamp's human owners have friends who are hunters, probably the same hunters who shot Bambi's mother.
It shocked both Bambi and Scamp, Bambi also have to keep his meetings with Scamp in secret almost from everyone, only Thumper and Flower know.
And they don't trust Scamp, they see dogs as foes who can be dangerous.
Scamp tries to talk to Bambi, he feels awful about hunting but he can't feel awful about being a dog, he doesn't think it makes him something dangerous. He loves his human masters, his parents, siblings and dog friends, he can't see them as monsters.
Bambi knows Scamp loves him and he trusts him, even if knowing that Scamp connected to the human world makes this love bittersweet
Jane / Melody, in this AU they both meet in Neverland, kidnapped by Captain Hook who wanted to use them in his plans against Peter Pan.
But the girls escaped and now they are getting home. They got close but they are so different, Jane like in the beginning of the canon movie is acting in an adult way, not approving fairytales, she still doesn't truly believe in Neverland.
Nelody wants to become a mermaid and find Atlantica, she shares her dreams with Jane, but Jane just tells her it's silly and can't come true.
They have a fight, Melody calls Jane heartless and they travel separately, while both regret saying hurtful things to each other. In the end they make up, apologize and get back together
Kion / Jasiri, almost canon AU about their secret love, Kion is going to try changing other lions' opinion about hyenas just like Jasiri took away all the stereotypes from his mind in the very beginning, he will try to officially marry Jasiri despite everything
Kovu / Kiara, it's truly canon here, I thought the lyrics would fit this couple greatly
Tarzan / Odette – Odette was a princess, like in canon, but she felt like she didn't belong to the castle, people only saw her beauty and the prince she was going to marry saw only her pretty face as well and didn't care about her.
So Odette asked a wizard Rothbart to help her escape this life, to help her run away from the castle and not be found.
Rothbart turned Odette into a swan, that way she could fly away. But the spell turned out to be permanent, Odette had to stay a swan all the day and she could only be a human at nights.
She settled in the jungle where she met Tarzan and made a new home. They were happy together, Odette told Tarzan about human life, she got her things from the castle without being noticed, the spell helped it.
Odette was teaching Tarzan to read, to speak English, to write, she was telling him how she escaped the life that chocked her, how she found this beautiful place.
But the spell was getting worse and worse, Odette could remain human less and less unless it was only two hours at night, she and Tarzan started to look for ways to break this spell, Odette searched for Rothbart in her swan form, but Rothbart just disappeared.
Odette tried and tried to break the spell, one night she tried too hard and it killed her.
Tarzan was left alone with the memories of Odette singing and dancing in the moonlight
Scar and Ratigan parts have no couples, it's up to you who they are asking for help.
I mainly wanted to show two villains in need of light and salvation, redemption and healing.
