A new video with one of my favorite ships
One winter morning when The Great Prince is left for his duties, Ronno is playing near Bambi's den. He is imagining his talks with Bambi, and when Bambi wakes up, Ronno is confused.
He doesn't know if Bambi heard him, so he tries to tell jokes. Bambi thinks Ronno may be teasing him and it feels bitter.
After that accendient with dogs and hunters The Great Prince doesn't take Bambi with him on patrols, and Bambi stays near the den. Thumper, his sisters and Flower, sometimes Faline come to visit Bambi, but he still can't leave far and feels worthless.
So Bambi tells Ronno he would stay here, guarding the den. Ronno replies that Bambi could go with him and his mother to the other side of the forest, they would make it back to the den before The Great Prince comes in the evening. Bambi smiles.
Bambi goes with Ronno and his mom, they play, come to the river and look at far away village. Ronno says there are no hunters in the village, his father knew it and often came there for food. Later Bambi finds out that Ronno's father was shot on the same meadow Bambi was attacked by dogs.
Bambi goes with Ronno more often, spring comes, they go further and further, find new places and feel whole together. The Great Prince trusts Bambi, and Bambi learning how to navigate, find his way back.
In this AU Bambi also fought hounds like in canon, Ronno was by his side and distracted the dogs.
Faline in this AU is a good friend of Bambi and Ronno, even if in the beginning she didn't like Ronno's show-off behavior. She has her own secret, she is meeting a dog she secretly love. It's up to you who is that dog (I'd like it to be Scamp)
The Great Prince approves Bambi's first love, and Ronno's mother is glad Ronno is finally accepts his feelings and not acting like "tough guy" all the time
