By 1965, the Velvelettes were right down in Studio A with the full Motown Sound recording so many wonderful and amazing tunes. Many of them had hit written all over them, but unfortunately most were not released at the time and this song was one of them. One of the songwriters and producer of the track, Clarence Paul, had the Velvelettes record this song twice, each in different styles. This version was the later version that was released in 2001 on "The Best of the Velvelettes" CD. The earlier version was released on the Velvelettes' "Motown Anthology" in 2004.
