This week I am going to be sailing the Ionian islands in Greece. After landing in Preveza, Greece, I got the bus to Plataria on the Greek mainland from which I will be starting the sailing journey. The first stop is Corfu Island. The Ionian Sea is the easiest and the best place for a beginner sailor. This is going to be a complete North To South Ionian sailing flotilla for 2 weeks. I will first set sail and head to the historical Corfu town.
This time I am sailing on an old Beneteau yacht, which is not my favourite and I end up having a lot of problems with it. Thankfully an engineer was nearby to help fix the main safety hazards on the boat.
