I’m going inside the most beautiful place in the Philippines, in Central Luzon. I will be exploring the real paradise of Zambales province and my all time best lake in the Philippines called Mapanuepe Lake near Mt. Pinatubo. I will also visit El Fraile (Fort Drum) fortified island situated at the mouth of Manila Bay due south of Corregidor Island, Pasay and the Mall of Asia in Manila and the sinking village. Luzon is one of the most beautiful island archipelago in the world I believe this is a hidden gem and it was amazing to visit it with my local Filipina and Filipino friends, stay overnight camping off grid and also travel it solo as a female. Mapanuepe Lake in Zambales in Central Luzon is not very touristy when it comes to foreigners visiting the Philippines. In fact, I have not seen any foreign people there but it is very well-known to the local Filipinos from Manila and surrounding areas who love to go camping and hiking. The lake was created after the cataclysmic eruption of Mount Pinatubo and it offers beautiful mountainous views of the Zambales region and many hiking treks. Once again in the video, you can see the incredible hospitality of Filipino and Filipinas towards the foreigners like me and how kind the Filipino culture really is. This video will also serve you as a travel guide around some amazing sites in Luzon. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe in Luzon, with the exception of some districts in Manila. To me, most of Luzon was a heavenly paradise.
I also visit El Fraile, also known as Fort Drum to stay overnight at the concrete battleship island and film a project of this beautiful, historical place.
