I have made it to the beautiful city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in Malaysian Borneo. I travel here as a solo female since Sabah and the island of Borneo are my lifetime dream travel destinations. The city of Kota Kinabalu is incredible and surprised me in many ways with its modern infrastructure, colourful buildings, highly developed technology, amazing food and great entertainment facilities but also peaceful streets.
I will be discovering the hidden gems of Kota Kinabalu including the native village of the Kadazan-Dusun ethnic group of Sabah, Malaysia, indulging in the best local cuisine, visiting night street food markets and showing you this vibrant city in 2023.
