This awesome track from singer-songwriter and musician Rickie Lee Jones' 1979 debut album is one of my favorites from her--it's a very cool, jazzy number like a slow jam perfect for chilling out. For her self-titled debut album, she's backed by a great gathering of session musicians that included established artists like Tom Scott, Steve Gadd, Ernie Watts, Neil Larsen, Buzz Feiten, Jeffrey Porcaro, Michael McDonald, and more. "Weasel and the White Boys Cool" wasn't released as a single, but at the time, it was played on AOR and jazz-oriented radio stations where I would hear it occasionally.
