RESOLUTE

New song time. This one has a bit of a dark story behind it. The protagonist of the song is contemplating murder as he watches his partner meeting up with her lover. Moreover, he's watching through the scope of a rifle and wrestling with his demons about what to do. Should he pull the trigger? Should he let them leave? I guess you'll have to wait and see...
Here's the tech stuff...
Recorded entirely in Garageband on MacOS.
11 of the 22 tracks are vocals. 10 various backing vocals supporting the lead vocal.
Instrument-wise there are 4 acoustic guitar tracks (1 strummed, 1 single strum and 2 tracks of arpeggio) all recorded using a Rode NT1A .
I used my ebow on the acoustic to add something interesting at the start and end of the song. I wanted to give the feeling that the protagonist is highly strung. Like a piano wire about to snap. I also threw a tremolo pedal on the sustained note for some added interest.
3 Electric guitar tracks were recorded using my Fender Telecaster, all on the Double Driven amp sim.
The last couple of tracks are my bass guitar and the auto drummer Darcy playing the Roots kit.
All stock GB effects and plugins used; Tape Delay, Reverb, EQ and Compression etc. The only external paid plugin I used was my old faithful, Kazrog True Iron - Transformer Emulator.

Pre Chorus: C, G, D, Am

The video came into being from me just playing around with the various effects on an app called Video Star on my iPad. I added some of the flame effects using the Werble App on a green screen and compiled it all in iMovie.
I guess this song officially marks the start of my third album.
