BRING THE DEVIL

From my 2019 album, Hiding In The Spotlight.
Well here it is... the last song I need to complete my second album (more on that when it's ready for release).
This song is about temptation. Knowing you shouldn't do something but that little Devil (the Morning Star) on your shoulder and has a way of leading you astray.

Here's the technical stuff....
Recorded, mixed and Mastered in Garageband MacOS.
This song is pretty simple track wise (for me at least).
Drums (Auto-drummer Levi playing the Sunset Kit - 76 bpm), Bass guitar and two acoustic guitars, one played with open chords and the other played with a capo on the 3rd Fret. Blended and panned slightly left.
Vocally I was quite restrained (yeah right) with just 16 vocal tracks. One master vocal with a double underneath in places. The rest are my own backing vocals.
There are four tracks of lead guitar using my Fender Telecaster (I played two tracks and then doubled them as close as I could to thicken the sound). Played though the Stadium Spread amp setting with the reverb and echo backed off a bit.
I used a relatively simple suite of GB stock plugins, EQs, Compression, Tape Delay. I also added the Transformer emulator plugin (True Iron by Kazrog) to each track.
Mastered in a separate GB project using a variety of plugins.
Chords are super simple; Verses C A# F G and Chorus A# F C. Which makes the Capo 3 guitar playing A G D E and G D A - these are the chords I originally wrote it in.
Lyric video is made using the Spectrum App on my iPad Pro (it's a screen recording of the wave form as my song played). Imported into iMovie to add the lyrics.
