In my quest to regain my regionnaire status I headed over to Withernsea Promenade parkrun. This parkrun has been on my radar since it began almost a year ago but I had been waiting for the perfect weekend to run a beach parkrun. With temperatures forecast to be in the mid to high twenties then I jumped at the opportunity to run here and then spend the day at the beach.

The course is a three time out-and-back on the promenade which made this run incredibly sociable and friendly. I loved how many high-fives I got and how much encouragement we all gave each other. The team here are incredibly wonderful and it's a real family affair. With a stunning course, free parking, toilets in both directions and a multitude of café options then I highly recommend a visit!
