I took Al to the Peak District for his birthday and managed to fit in a visit to Monsal Trail parkrun. I'd been meaning to visit for the longest time - since it was known as Bakewell parkrun and ran in the opposite direction.

It was so good to run on this fast, flat, beautiful course... I even think Al enjoyed his birthday run! I'm so pleased we finally got to visit. We also did the stunning stepping stone walk at Chee Dale which I highly recommend if you're in the area, especially in summer.
