PLEASE READ: (lyrics below)- please be sure this is in HD or as high as you can go (to catch all beats dead on)- mine keeps reverting back to 360 when I watch this, not sure why, and I have to switch to HD every time. An awesome song by two of my favorite singers/band - I long hoped for them to team up and do something like this! :D This is my 1st vid of Reign- my tribute vid to a great new show- and one that mainly focuses on the triangle of Bash, Mary, and Francis (which most of my vids of this fandom will do) though I added other things too. I cannot think of one time in a show until now that I've liked the girl with both rivals- I'm a fan of both couples. lol I like how they follow history by putting her with Francis while maintaining a bond with her & Bash, which makes me wonder if when Francis dies they will draw closer. If I had to choose, I like her with Bash more, there is more maturity/respect/trust between them, but I don't mind her with Francis one bit! ;-) Clips follow lyrics. Loads of symbolism- the cloudy "wheel" that turns symbolizes royalty (purple) cloudy = mistrust -- and the wheel is the cycle unbroken- those in charge of their lives, always watching the young royals and instructing them, though the elders are not always wise. The "half wheel" I show of the talisman to ward off darkness also fits- the cycle of dark authority that controls the pagans and affects the royals. Smoky frames show future of the clips that immediately follow (the past that led to the fight). The green frame symbolizes jealousy between brothers over Mary. The end clip, where she opens the door into the secret corridor and the darkness, symbolizes that the question is as yet unanswered (what about us?) and that there are more secrets with a future and an ending no one yet knows.
