PLEASE READ: (lyrics & dialogue below)- *warning some flashes, though they are dim* - watch in HD for best experience- My 1st vid to a new fandom I’m adding to my regular lineup. :) - Love Jamie & Claire and their story – I usually wait to make my first vid of a fandom 'til I get a love scene or kiss, but I couldn't wait with these two, and the scenes so far actually work perfect for this very cool song, which fits them to a T (for where they are in the story). :) Per the dictionary: spellbind (spellbound) - to hold or bind by or as if by a spell; enchant; entrance; fascinate, enthrall. In this case, it works double for their story – the actual spell she was under by the stones, that caused her to travel back into the 18th century, and the mesmerizing pull and attraction Claire & Jamie have for each other from their first meeting... Symbolism (of course lol)- the purple glows, blue stars: their mystical and instant attraction to one another that leaves them stunned and mesmerized – erratic blue lines: trouble/distance between them – erratic white lines: danger & conflict from others preventing her escape back to her world. I highly recommend this series – it is tops and my favorite show on TV right now. story follows lyrics- song told in both POVs - Claire is thrown back into the 18th century, and though she wants to get back to her husband and her time (1945), she feels a strong attraction to Jamie. Claire is the enemy, a prisoner of his clan, thought to be an English spy, but Jamie feels a strong attraction to her he cannot resist. Both fight it, both of them with stubborn natures, but both are pulled closer, and as they grow to know one another, they fall deeply in love. The second "I am haunted'"- shows the future, with Jamie in her world- standing in the rain and longing for her to be back with him, haunted by his love for her. The song ends on a note that they both feel the deep attraction but both are determined to fight it...yet destiny has chosen otherwise. ;-)
