PLEASE READ to understand (lyrics below) - Well, now that spring has sprung here is my last winter vid! lol - I started it during a snowstorm, the worst we had this winter, which gives you an idea how long this took to make. : ) A great song for them (told in both POVs) - clips follow lyrics and are symbolic, as well as the effects. “winter storm” - for Christine, is the constant oppression she receives from others for her feelings for her Angel, who often acts like a Phantom (unseen and dangerous), and she walks alone, in trying to understand him, wanting to help him, etc. For Erik, winter storm is what he believes to be his unrequited feelings for Christine, as well as the constant oppression/rejection from others, and he feels he walks alone in life and always will. Also, when they walk alone, apart from each other, that is when their worst storms in life come - only together, walking side by side (and at end) do they realize their true destiny... Blue star frame = hope - white star frame = happiness. B & W frames are the past, leading into the present - rotating frame shows “eternal” which is how C feels, the “sleep forevermore” one of ignorance and the inability to act with what her heart wants for fear, while for him is the desire to keep her forever in the dark, in a world of make-believe, etc - take the rest of the symbolism as you will : ) … sparkle clips - Pond5, also a snippet of song from the movie.
