Sometimes curls and waves start looking stretched after wash day, especially when multiple curls have hooked together into one big clump.
When that happens during refreshing:
• Unravel the clump with dry hands when the hair is dry
• Lightly wet your hands or mist the curl
• Smooth the strands back into place
• Then use your diffuser to scrunch to bring the pattern back
Often the wave or curl is still there. It just needs to be released from the larger clump so it can spring back up.
This is exactly what we practiced during this guided coaching session with one of my annual members.
