One of the most common things I see when watching clients style is not following all the way through when they're raking in gel.
When you rake in your gel, your hands should go from root to end, letting the hair fall out of your hands as you apply.
If you stop short or rush:
• your ends don’t get coated
• they won’t form a proper cast
• and they’re more likely to look frizzy or stringy
This happens easily, especially with longer hair where it takes more intention to fully coat everything.
The fix is simple. Slow down and make sure your gel actually reaches the ends.
