A Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) dives from a kiting position over Wolff Prairie at Memorial Park, in Houston, TX, USA. An American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) seems to see this and goes to chase off the Hawk, perhaps saving whatever the Hawk's prey would have been. Even though the Hawk is bigger than the Crow and could easily kill it if it caught the Crow in its talons, the Crow must be confident in its superior maneuverability over the Hawk.
