A Bee Fly (Chrysanthrax cypris) eats pollen from a Croton plant -- probably Lindheimer's Doveweed (Croton lindheimeri) -- at Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge, in Colorado County, TX, USA. The Bee Fly gets chased off by a Mason Wasp (Euodynerus sp.). There's also a tiny white Plant Bug (family Miridae) visting the Croton flowers.
