Tonight’s system is a lightweight receiver - but a solid 22 watts can go far. And the Realistic STA-110 does a great job doing so.
Looks similar to some of the 1970’s monsters but it’s a unit from the 1980’s.
Excellent bass and treble variability. Small form factor and does not weigh much. It’s powering my Pioneer HPM-60’s just fine.
I’m a huge Realistic fan and this is an example of a great product and engineering. What was likely a budget entry level model still works like new, 42 years later.
I re-biased this a while back and if I recall it was not far off. Meaning the components may have aged but not drifted too much.
