Youtube will severely downgrade any video I render so I'm not really able to give a true representation of what it looks like in the goggles while I'm driving around, but it's not actually 1080p. It just looks much better than what ends up on youtube. The O3 Air Unit can actually record much better quality so I'll start using that instead. I'd have to get an expensive gopro to improve what I can actually get from the air unit, but at least something like a gopro would have audio also. I'm gonna put this cheap SP360 cam I have on there just for the audio, because the wireless feed directly into the goggles still actually looks better. That's kind of crazy. I never did feel like control was getting wonky on the 2.4g booster but I still think going over to crossfire is a good idea either way because it will remove that concern completely. Even using the patches, so far the general rule seems to be that if I put a large building in between me and the car then I can still keep going so long as I don't add any more obstructions. Maybe taller tx antennas and some better CP's on the goggles can improve that, but I'm also still just sitting in the car.
The live feed quality allows me to catch things I normally wouldn't.. like the couple walking their dog who I can tell were pretty cool because they smiled and waved. I could easily see that they were smiling in the goggles but I didn't linger.
